Toronto House Move | 2-Mover Job Recap | Gone2Day

Junk removal · Toronto ·

Open moving truck and ramp beside a Toronto home with boxes, storage bins and household furniture.
A lowered truck ramp sits beside household belongings and a stepped front entrance.

Our crew handled this Toronto house move on October 11, 2026, with two movers over three hours. The setting included a stepped front entrance, a paved walkway beside a hedge, and an open moving truck at the curb. Boxes, storage bins, furniture and smaller household belongings were all part of the scene—a mix of shapes and sizes rather than a load made up entirely of matching cartons.

A varied household load

At the open rear of the truck, cardboard boxes sat alongside blue and grey storage bins. A wooden chair, a portable fan, bags and wrapped pieces were also visible inside. Near the bottom of the ramp, a clear storage tote with a red lid held more small belongings. Our job was a house move, and this assortment gives a straightforward picture of the everyday household contents involved.

Beside the walkway, there were more cartons, flattened cardboard, long boards and a round glass-topped table. A red hand truck stood near the hedge. Some belongings were boxed or contained in bins, while others had their own distinct outlines. For anyone preparing for a move, that contrast is worth keeping in mind: the inventory includes both packed containers and the individual pieces that do not fit neatly into them.

The truck’s open cargo area held items of different heights, widths and materials. Rigid plastic totes shared the space with cardboard cartons, soft bags and wooden furniture. Our Toronto recap is as much about that ordinary variety as it is about the crew size or duration. A household move brings together many separate things, not just one uniform type of load.

Front steps and curbside access

The home’s entrance was raised above the walkway, with several steps and a railing leading to the front door. A hedge bordered the paved approach, and the lowered truck ramp extended toward the curb. These were the visible access features around our work area: the entrance steps, the walkway and the transition into the truck.

Those details are useful considerations when planning a GTA house move. Along with a list of furniture and boxes, describing the entrance and the route between the home and the loading area helps explain the scope of the work. Steps and outdoor approaches deserve a place in that description, alongside the contents being moved.
